Hi,  
Is anywhere within the SDK ZymKey that provides the Serial No of the device? The use-case is to use that to identify the Pi unit. Thank you.

We currently do not provide the Zymkey serial number through the API, but we will add this feature to an upcoming release.

Does that mean the the up coming release will be a software feature ? Meaning that the ZymKey 4i will get the update? Thank you.

An update for the Zymkey is not necessary. It will be a host side software update which will have a new API.
