Raspi PI 4 | Unable to restart after an update

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the forum and perhaps the question has already been asked.

Here is my problem: Following the latest update, my rasberry no longer starts.

The error messages are :
segmentation fault
Cannot initialize device-mapper. Is dm_mod kernel module loaded ?
Cannot use device cryptrfs, name is invalid os still in use.
Nothing to read on input.
cryptsetup : ERROR: cryptrfs: cryptsetup failed, bad password or option ?

Here is my configuration:
Hardware: Rasberry PI 4
Operating system : Latest
Encryption system: ZYMKEY4
Encrypting Root File : Option 1 - Convert existing SD Card to LUKS

Sorry for the delayed response, but let me try and help out. :slight_smile:

Did your system auto-update?
Are you by any chance running Ubuntu?

See this page: Encrypting Root File System with Zymbit Security Modules | specifically the part about turning OFF auto-update.

Let me know it that is not the case and we can further troubleshoot this.
